SECTION 4 - SHOPIFY
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Based on your location and zip code, USPS Ground delivery service is commonly one to five business days from the date we ship your order. Please verify USPS delivery service to your location – USPS does NOT guarantee delivery within stated service times to remote locations NOR exact location.
The BatteryWorldOnline.com preferred small parcel carrier is USPS. Service availability, time in transit, shipment tracking, and delivery guarantee policy for all USPS services are available at the USPS website, https://www.usps.com/ reserves the right to substitute alternative carriers based on shipment size and weight, shipping requirements, and market conditions. You will be contacted by our Customer Care center when this change in carrier occurs.

Shipping Rates Freight Rates

BatteryWorldOnline.com does not control freight of large or heavy items once it leaves the central distribution center, shipment times may be subject to change based on carrier (i.e. weather, holidays, demand, misc.). By purchasing online and having a product shipped or freight LTL to you, you agree to the variable ship times provided by the tracking number and third party carrier. No exact time can be guaranteed. Failed Delivery Attempts
Signature may be required at the time of delivery by USPS for higher value orders. If the driver feels it is best to obtain a signature and no one is present to accept the delivery after three attempts, the package will be returned to us or the terminal.

Unopened Merchandise and Opened, As-New Merchandise
Any merchandise for which the original packaging is unopened and batteries never used may be returned to Batteryworldonline.com within 30 days if accompanied by a Return Authorization Number. Do to the nature of batteries, we cannot accept used batteries, damaged batteries, tampered with, abused batteries, and batteries that have been misused resulting in low voltage, and issue a full refund. For proper battery use regard the user manual, manufactuer guides, or request one from battery world online. Return shipping and related costs are the responsibility of the customer. The purchase price, excluding shipping will be refunded. Returns may be subject to a 20% restocking fee on special order items, dropshipped, and products requiring cores. Products for which the original packaging has been opened may be returned to Batteryworldonline.com within 30 days if accompanied by a Return Authorization Number. Opened merchandise must be returned in as-new condition, including the original box and all other original packaging, manuals and accessories. Fees imposed to us by our supplier to replace packaging, hardware, or printed materials will be deducted from the refund amount. Return shipping and related costs are the responsibility of the customer. Batteries that have been used cannot be accepted.
Defective Merchandise - Shipping Discrepancies:
For any product purchased from Batteryworldonline.com to be determined defective or shipment discrepancy, it must be returned to Batteryworldonline.com or the manufacturer and accompanied by a Return Authorization Batteryworldonline.com within 3 days of tracking arrival. If your product has been shipped via freight, and is defected, destroyed, lost/stolen, customer must not sign the acceptance of freight or else forfiet all rights to return. All refused orders including drop ship orders are subject to a $25, or loss of original shipping/handling fee. The specified warranty period and terms. Product warranty begins according to the manufacturer. Batteryworldonline.com is not responsible for return shipping charges before or past the first 30 days.Batteryworldonline.com does not do advance warranties. Batteries received in a discharge state must be charged before we can properly test and evaluate. Products found to be defective from original workmanship will be replaced or credited, at customer request. Products found to be non-defective, will be returned at customer's expense.
Merchandise that has been Modified
Any modifications done to any merchandise voids the warranty.
Shipping discrepancies or damages must be reported to Batteryworldonline.com within 3 business days of delivery. For packages pressumed stolen we recommend filing a police report and emailing us from our Contact Form for next steps. Battery World doesn not guarantee the replacement of goods that are lost upon delivery. Heavy Batteries that Require Freight
All batteries or freight products bay be returned if never used and best if never accepted by the freight carrier. Batteryworldonline.com charges a 20% restocking fee do to the nature of 3rd party freight cost.
Shipments Damaged in Transit
Any item damaged in transit must be reported to Batteryworldonline.com within 5 business days of shipment. All original packaging must be held with damaged item. Pictures may be required, for lost or stolen merchandise please have any evidence available including local police reports. If a package arrives damaged please do not accept it. Refunds of any kind may take up to 30 days to process once submitted RMA.
How to Return Merchandise
Contact our customer service representatives to receive a Return Authorization Number.
